I read the chapter to my friend. She said it was emotional and that I write depression well.

I am reading “Travel by Star” and I wholeheartedly agree with @TheMiddleborne’s review. @plainrunner2 writes excellent prose. More than once, I’ve flipped back to re-read sections because they were so beautiful.
I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading @plainrunner2 book. I knew that it was going to be a quasi-western in a fantastical setting, but I wasn’t prepared for the world I found myself swept up in. I suspect that I will be thinking about this for a long time, but here…
I saw a post and thought “you should wait to read that, it will make you cry.” I waited, but I should have waited until the kids were in bed for the night because it REALLY made me cry. 💔😭 These are healthy tears, but very inconvenient.
We have eight kids in our house today. Our 3, the usual summer extra, and 4 more that we are hosting during the day this week. So far, all is well.

My pet conspiracy theory: Andrew Snyder doesn’t own a bookcase, but he’s too deep in fantastic books to admit it. The claim that he’s “organizing” is a ruse to keep us from realizing the truth. 😉
I have said this before, but now it’s for real time to organize.
My unhinged new theory I only partially believe, inspired by the Iliad: God gave our brains the Uncanny Valley because demons used to take the form of humans to try causing harm. All throughout the book, the “gods” disguise themselves as people to trick or sway various warriors
