BYU sports news, rumors, jokes, & whatnot. (I run a mortgage branch by day. Turns out I'm good at it. Who knew? We lend in all 50 states. DMs open.) #BYU
I'm always hiring part-time loan officers who can find mortgage candidates. It's commission-only so depends on loans closing, but can be good side money for folks who can self-generate the business. No state MLO license required.
In a single income household, things can get pretty tight. Anyone know of any side hustles that are tired and true and have worked for you?
The Best CFB Teams by Category for the 2025 Season! These teams have the strongest position groups in the country, as well as some other aspects of their program. Which categories did I get wrong? Surely there'll be no controversy in the comments😅
In a bit of an upset, Hoops wins. I agree.
Football is normally king, but this is an unusual upcoming year at BYU. BYU fans: Which team are you most excited to see in the 25-26 season?
This is your periodic reminder that “As Sisters In Zion” and “Beer For My Horses” have pretty much the same melody in the verses.
I’m music chorister in my ward. We had a missionary homecoming and farewell today. (Solid meeting) After sacrament meeting a visiting uncle came up and introduced himself as a fellow BYU fan. He recognized the profile pic. 😄
Fred prolly putting in a good word for Jakob.
Jakob Robinson has reportedly made an early impression at 49ers training camp. B/R named the former BYU CB as the UDFA most likely to make the 53 man roster. (📷: 49ers)
Our heritage leans on the first amendment. Gives Americans freedom of religion and freedom to mock. I’m fine with people boycotting businesses who lean into Pie&Beer though. I’m saying when someone tries to get a rise out of you online, don’t give them the satisfaction.
Nah, I'm with them on this one. Stand up for your heritage. No one else will.
Oh boy. I got the DerpNats mad at me for this tweet. Nobody gets butthurt faster or more ridiculously than that low-iq crowd. 😄 This whole Pie and Beer thing is designed to get a rise out of people, y’all. Don’t take the bait and give them the satisfaction.
“Pie and Beer Day” is a mostly harmless joke designed to needle the thin-skinned among descendants of Utah pioneers. Acting all butthurt about it is pathetic and just rewards the trolls. Also, the pioneers almost certainly enjoyed pie and beer. Think root beer if it helps.
A 16-25 F+ rank wins the vote. Probably wise to not have too high of expectations for most fans
When it comes to college football analytics, I like FEI and SP+. Merge those two and you get F+. Here’s BYU’s final F+ rankings this decade: 2020 #2 (COVID) 2021 #31 2022 #66 2023 #74 2024 #16 Poll: What will BYU’s final 2025 F+ rank be?

I’m on board with this prediction. Make it so, Cougs.
Heard it here first @BYUfootball
Hey Grunkle, why does everyone keep asking you random questions?
Poll: Which sport would you rather see win a Natty? BYU Hoops or BYU Football?
The entire BYU Men’s Hoops team begins three weeks of mandatory practices together on Monday. Plus football training camp starts mid week. It’s on y’all. Let the video clips from practice flow! We have BYU football and basketball from now until next April (hopefully)

I agree. The roster has at least 13 guys who probably would have started at BYU 10 years ago.
Think KY has shown starting isn’t that important and I’d be shocked if the rotation doesn’t go 9 deep this season. Maybe 10.
Ha. That’s not Fred (per Grok). But it is impressive.
Look at All-Pro Fred go… 😭😂
I expect Moo Davis will be BYU’s fifth starter most of the season. He is likely to get a lot of minutes.
Highly placed spies in Provo believe the unsung presence in BYU’s deep assortment of newcomers is Southern Illinois transfer Kennard Davis. Has major defensive potential at 6-6. Made 64 three-point shots last season. A potential Big 12 starter for the Cougars.
There’s a lot to like about AJ Dybantsa but his defensive upside is as big as any. Not good but ELITE potential defensively. Length, quick, recovery speed, hand speed , shot challenges + twitch. Once he gets dealing w/ screens +multiple efforts LOOK OUT ! @BYUMBB
Don’t remember this song… But I love it! #80’s
One of the best songs of the 80s. And that’s saying a lot.
