When the talent is outstanding but it outweighs the efficiency by a lot , NOW you are really getting to Coach. There’s nothing like getting the effectiveness and consistency of the player to match the talent and the potential. Never waste a day helping that become reality !
The most underrated dribble moves. 1. Inside-Out dribble. 2. Hesitation to crossover dribbles. 3. Behind the back to a between the legs dribble. 4. Spin dribble at the line of either lane. Most overrated. 1. Combo dribbles that go nowhere 2. Pre determined hostage dribble
Helping players improve is a lot of things but you have to be able to always do these things. 1. Tweak it to make the skill better 2. Find the details they are missing and get it across. 3. Give them something better to replace what they don’t want to change. 4. Show BELIEF.
If you were friends with Skip during his life you knew it was special. Over the last 18 years you’ve realized it was an absolute Gift. He made a difference in every person, player or friend he knew. There was truly no one like him.
18 years later, we continue to remember the legacy of Coach Skip Prosser 🎩
There’s a lot to like about AJ Dybantsa but his defensive upside is as big as any. Not good but ELITE potential defensively. Length, quick, recovery speed, hand speed , shot challenges + twitch. Once he gets dealing w/ screens +multiple efforts LOOK OUT ! @BYUMBB

Coaches/PD/ Trainers , Train your guards to operate out of the Dunker spot. It creates incredible opportunities and edges for them and the offense. Most guards have very little idea how to defend down there. Opens up passing, cutting , layups and spacing for 3’s.
Pete Carroll used to go to Watts at 1 a.m. during football season to help teens get off the streets in an effort to end gang violence. Along with starting an organization to alleviate gang violence, he brought kids to USC football practices to give them hope of what a better…
I’ve watched hundreds of AAU games this summer. I feel like 2 things would help like 90% of offenses at this level: 1. Immediately sprint back out to space after pass on a drive into paint 2. Don’t re-drive a drive into the same gap. Shoot, swing it or at least drive opposite
The quicker a player learns that ; - you get no points for degree of difficulty shots. -you get no award for leading your team in dribbles. -no one wants to play a player they can’t trust with the ball. -the game is won or lost on how well you play on the weak side. THE BETTER.
For younger players when the OBSESSION with Brand. Or Fashion fit. Or social life. Overtake your OBSESSION with getting your game or body better , your shelf life has started and you don’t even know it. Most people don’t have anyone with the courage or care to even tell you.
Study Film -not highlights. Study efficiency - not just stats. Study percentages - not just numbers. Study attempted assists - not just assists. Study the middle of the game - not just beginning and ends. Study what kind of turnovers occurred - not just turnover numbers.
Great story on Antonio Gates. It takes just one to believe and @TimBrewster was that guy.

I agree with this @TonyPatelis Certainly no one talks about it as much as Tony does. You’ve made the CBI a year round topic.
I don't think I get enough credit for the job I've done building the CBI Tournament into the juggernaut it now is.
Thrilled to be joining @DrivelineBB in a part-time capacity to help place a spotlight on research/athletes/training/other cool stuff happening here and around the game. First story? We had Inside Edge grade 19 Greg Maddux starts. What did we learn? x.com/DrivelineBB/st…
Greg Maddux’s command wasn’t just elite — it was historic. New data shows just how far ahead of the curve he really was. 📊 Full breakdown in our newest blog: drivelinebaseball.com/2025/07/greg-m…
Coaches You can find 10-12-14 points a game if you focus on making your weak side slot cutting a priority. 1. Passes from Slot opposite of the cutting Slot. 2. Drives from the corner middle or baseline 3. Offensive rebounding from a cut off of the Slot. 4. Cuts off of post up.
