Good morning all. Ulverston Canal rolling bridge for #AllMetalMonday Disused railway bridge, opened in 1882 to provide an alternative route around the coast to Barrow-in-Furness. Passenger services soon stopped on the branch, freight trains continued to use it until the 1990s

As everyone knows, it is illegal (very illegal) to pass Shrewsbury Severn Bridge Junction Signal Box without noting on social that it is the *largest* working mechanically-operated signal box IN THE WORLD. Which it is. It is also undergoing @NetworkRailWAL restoration atm: super.
