🩺 Why DOSE? The #DOSETrial is evaluating both low-dose (0.18mg/kg) and standard-dose (0.25 mg/kg) tenecteplase to find the safest, most effective approach in patients within <48h DOAC intake. Critical gap. Adaptive answers. #Stroke #Thrombolysis #ACTGlobal

🚨 In this worldwide Practice Current survey of neurologists on mgmt of MCI, there was cautious optimism re: anti-amyloid therapies, with concerns about side effects but a general interest to prescribe: neurology.org/doi/10.1212/CP… @GrahamAMcLeod, Aaron Switzer, Eric Smith @DCNSNeuro

The Canadian Outcome Scale for Minor Stroke (COSMOS): a much-needed, novel 7-point scale to assess more Individualized outcomes in patients with minor stroke (mRS is not sufficient). @StrokeAHA_ASA Kudos to @mayank_G0 @draravindganesh Salome and team. ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/ST…
“We're putting that lens on this lifespan trajectory of how risk and resilience manifests in congenital heart disease (CHD) over the life course.” The effects of CHD on the brain are not well understood. Dr. Thalia Field wants to change that. #BeatStroke #StrokeMonth
In adults with myasthenia gravis, treatment with intravenous inebilizumab, a CD19-specific monoclonal antibody, significantly improved function and reduced disease severity at 26 weeks. Full MINT phase 3 trial results and Research Summary: nej.md/4j8TiUo
Dr. @nishita_singh3 aims to revolutionize stroke causes and treatment. From her experience working in rural India to the day she came to Canada, Dr. Singh has been advocating and working towards equitable, life-saving stroke treatments in Canada and globally. #StrokeMonth

Kudos to @ArKatsanos for his effective leadership of CoVasc-ICH! This Canada-led first RCT testing colchicine in acute ICH has provided the requisite feasibility metrics to effectively plan our global phase III trial, CoVasc-ICH 2 (phri.ca/research/covas…). Stay tuned!
First RCT of colchicine in acute intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) at #ESOC2025 shows it's feasible & potentially safe. Though not powered for efficacy, no ischemic strokes occurred, and recurrent ICH only in placebo group. Phase III coming next! #ESOC2025 #Stroke #VoiceOfStroke
