Once you have a PhD you learn that nobody really cares what your PhD is in, just that you have one. If you want to: Do research and practice ➡️ Counseling psych PhD Practice ➡️ Masters in counseling, social work, etc Research &/or teach ➡️ PhD in relevant subfield
Happy to see this published. In a preregistered replication we find that senders who use smileys (😊) in their emails are perceived as warmer but less competent, independent of the formality of the context.
