As a longtime humanitarian who has battled famines and hunger crises, I fear that starvation in Gaza has now passed the tipping point and we are going to see mass-scale starvation mortality. A thread on famine momentum, famine response, and what it means for Gaza today.
It's behavior like this that makes an institution a legit target for the solidarity movement. Just saying.

The process is nearing its conclusion. The US has finally put an end to the charade of these peace negotiations, and the situation is so grim that it is finally time for the mainstream press to describe Gaza accurately. We’re just about at everyone always having been against it.

Thing is, once you are willing to support genocide there's no bottom. It's a continuing downward spiral of delusion. Everyone is lying, antisemitic and secretly out to kill all the Jews. You have to rationalize it this way. Otherwise, you have to reckon with what you've done.
Imagine the delusion, mendacity, pure evil of saying the World Food Programme, UN, Amnesty International, kids in Gaza, doctors in hospitals — all lying. That the photos are fake. That there’s no starvation in Gaza and, even if there were, it’s definitely not Israel’s fault.

The government called for major reforms at @Columbia. Instead, we have a deal where half of the "reforms" are agreeing to comply with existing laws, while letting discriminatory, terror-supporting faculty maintain their leadership positions. This is embarrassing.
