I would be curious as how anyone could argue this. I mean, in my experience, church families are unstable, people are often fighting and leaving. There is no commitment beyond comfort.
THIS A church is not your ‘family’ or your ‘community’. It is a gathering of ppl whose allegiance to the pastor/church/rules determines your belonging. It’s not true friendship, it’s not genuine community. It’s conditional, and it can be lost in a moment.
