We recently teamed up w/ @dcfireems for high-angle rescue drills at our St. Elizabeth’s Tank. Crews practiced rope rescues to remove people from hard-to-access spots like tanks, buildings, & construction zones. Training that protects lives—on the ground and above it. 💪 #DCWater
On Monday 7/21/25, Platoon 1 responded to 656 calls (high-volume day), including 513 EMS calls, 113 fire calls, and 30 other calls. In total, there were 1,238 emergency vehicle responses and 253 patient transports. ##DCsBravest

On July 22nd, @dcfireems will change how we report our daily incident statistics. It will look like this: Platoon 4 responded to 559 calls, including 430 EMS calls, 83 fire calls, and 46 other calls. There were 1,053 emergency vehicle responses and 245 patient transports.

Participants in ServeDC's Summer Youth Emergency Preparedness Academy (SYEPA) toured the DC Fire and EMS Training Academy. This year's cohort got a firsthand look at how our first responders operate and learned valuable lessons about emergency response and public safety.
