every day i find out about a new cast member in this movie that is crazier than the last
Cillian Murphy spotted filming scenes for ‘The Devil wears Prada 2’ in New York City today.
Countries aren't addressing a genocide happening so this isn't going to amount to much.

*Everybody* is online. We need to stop pretending there's some weird group of "normal" people who don't use the Internet.

for years now, the government has allowed racists to maintain surveillance checkpoints outside the homes of refugees under the guise of "protest", enabling bigots to harrass and intimidate refugees every single day. they are responsible for emboldening the far right
Gardaí are investigating after a woman reported that she was forced to remove her hijab by men at a protest camp outside of The Avon Resort in Blessington, Co, Wicklow, where she was going to visit a friend. thejournal.ie/blessington-pr…
Bob Geldof is now repeating this shite on #rtept
Some journalist based in Jerusalem on RTÉ now is talking about how images of starvation aren't shown on Israeli TV so the people are obliviois. That argument might have worked 20 years ago but they are all on social media now. No one can say they did not know what was going on
RTE churning out Geldof for a more sympathetic interview than when they interviewed Kneecap in which *balance* had to be adhered to.
The recognition of Palestine, from France, comes with a lot of conditions - disarming & eradicating Hamas, expanding PA’s power and the state comprising only of the West Bank & Gaza. These are platitudes. What state when you couldn’t even be bothered to stop the starvation and…
Two weeks ago, you turned civil society activists trying to prevent genocide into terrorists.
The suffering and starvation unfolding in Gaza is unspeakable and indefensible.
officially recognizing Palestine as part of a two state solution is so farcically below the absolute bare minimum of what the moment requires of us. like it's almost a parody to make that demand
I keep thinking that lots of councils used their Active Travel budget on roads and might have included a very short section for a cycle lane
Micheál Martin believes the public transport promises in the plan will be ‘key’ for Ireland to meet its promises to cut emissions. He says all departments will have spending and infrastructure plans which reflect the Climate Action Plan. @thejournal_ie

I respect the sentiment but also I watched this on live television
No kid remembers their best day in front of the TV.
It is so late, Ms Kallas. Only sanctions can stop Israel. Suspending the EU agreement with Israel is a must. Anything less will be just performance, which the millions of Europeans who are grieving for the genodice in Gaza, would much prefer being spared from.
The killing of civilians seeking aid in Gaza is indefensible. I spoke again with @gideonsaar to recall our understanding on aid flow and made clear that IDF must stop killing people at distribution points. All options remain on the table if Israel doesn’t deliver on its pledges
We'll build that extra 4km of Luas track to Finglas in 2060 or something.
Sean Canney implicitly concedes that the Dublin Metrolink is now the *only* transport project specifically pledged - all other capital projects are subject to internal wrangling with Depts to decide in coming weeks which projects are prioritised
This sums up the level of detail in the government's new National Development Plan. No mention of DART+, Luas extensions, Cork Commuter Rail or any kind of public transport projects beyond what was already committed for MetroLink.
You mock, but a Tory baron's daughter making her bow as an Observer cartoonist with a childish drawing of Jeremy Corbyn covered in hammers and sickles + some casual racism, is such a funny distillation of the last 10 years of UK politics I bet you're gutted you didn't think of it
