NEW: The @CDNConstFound has been granted leave to intervene in the Supreme Court challenge to Quebec’s Bill 21. We’ll argue that even if judges can declare rights have been violated after the notwithstanding clause is invoked, it wouldn’t be just and appropriate to award damages.
