More disgusting anti-Semitic graffiti. This is on NZTA land (the Petone overpass heading to Wellington) and I have instructed the agency to remove it immediately.

Nearly every public sector restructure follows the same script: – PSA slams proposed cuts, including vacant roles to boost the number – Media run with the PSA figure – The agency later clarifies far fewer filled jobs are actually going e.g. a net loss of 5 filled jobs at NZDF.
Three years ago inflation was 7.3 percent per annum.
Inflation has now hit a 12-month high. Christopher Luxon promised to make the cost of living better — but he's making it worse.

The number of urban and regional planners in 🇳🇿 has grown a lot too - up almost 300% since 2001.
Because people value 100s of new student accommodation units in a city with grossly unaffordable housing over the ‘value’ of an eyesore unsafe building that has been left to rot for a decade in central Wellington bc heritage restrictions make it uneconomic to do anything with it

Two years to get consent to build cool looking homes. RMA reform can’t come soon enough!!

How does a society go from watching Jews being slaughtered at a music festival to chanting for Jews to be slaughtered at a music festival? That’s exactly what happened at Glastonbury.
Great to be in the Hutt this morning with Mental Health Minister Matt Doocey and local MP Chris Bishop to break ground on the new Sir Mark Dunajtschik Mental Health Centre – a major investment in the future of mental health care.
