There’s nothing *wrong with light skin men, inherently. The joke is the guys that buy into the narrative that lighter skin affords higher social capital and walk around as though that’s true. They’re insufferable. But that’s because of their attitude, not their tone.

I have this conversation with my friend all of the time. I think that it comes down to a poor expectations and low standards. When you’re so used to the subpar the actual bare minimum seems extravagant.
