Yesterday,in Takaungu,we partnered with @TICAH_KE & @AngazaKilifi for a bold dialogue with religious leaders on SRHR.We tackled consent,choice &stigma and shared a sexuality education guide for Kilifi youth,which was unanimously endorsed. Faith meets facts @KilifiCountyGov #SRHR

Earlier this month,we followed up on 742 coconut seedlings in Takaungu, Kilifi many showing 100% survival. Despite challenges,local farmers(led by women & youth) are using sustainable methods to restore their land. #COSMEProject #TimizaYouthInitiative

At Timiza Youth Initiative, we’re blending tradition with modern rights-based education. In Kilifi,we work with Kaya elders to revive dhomes—spaces once used to mentor youth on adulthood, sexuality, and responsibility.

Today,@Timiza_CC,@AngazaKilifi,@TICAH_KE,and @KilifiCountyGov hosted a Town Hall forum on SRHR at Juwaba Hall. Leaders,CSOs,elders and youth discussed key SRHR barriers and committed to solutions,including an age-appropriate sexuality guide. Grateful to TICAH for the support!

@KilifiCountyGov in partnership with organizations,kicked off the HEG Committee review at Mnarani Club. Day included CSE progress,reviewed the AASE guide,and set structure, age cohorts & target users.Strong multi-sectoral backing was led by CECMs for Health & Gender. #KilifiCSE

Timiza, in partnership with Plan International, wrapped up 3 weeks of transformative Roots & Shoots training under the COSME Project in Kilifi with 3 youth groups.

Timiza hosted a successful workshop in Kilifi South with govt reps, CSOs, parents & community leaders to tackle teen pregnancy, HIV, and GBV. Stakeholders also gave input on Kilifi’s age-appropriate CSE guide.

Earlier Timiza conducted a capacity building training for our members and staff,focusing on leadership,monitoring and evaluation,reporting,and advocacy. This marks a significant milestone in strengthening our team’s capacity to drive meaningful change and transform our community
