we are a youth-led organization in Kilifi County, Kenya, empowering marginalized groups and driving positive change in the community.

Earlier this month,we followed up on 742 coconut seedlings in Takaungu, Kilifi many showing 100% survival. Despite challenges,local farmers(led by women & youth) are using sustainable methods to restore their land. #COSMEProject #TimizaYouthInitiative
Today, I had the privilege of joining young people at the @rhnkorg pre- Conference for a sensitization dialogue that brought together over 1,000 youth from diverse backgrounds at mtwapa. We engaged in meaningful conversations around SRHR,
Earlier this week,our team joined a 3-day SRHR advocacy workshop by @TICAH_KE in Naivasha,alongside AGYW & advocates from across Kenya.We left empowered with tools to push for youth-led policy & budget change in Kilifi and beyond.#SRHR #YouthAdvocacy
In Takaungu, Kilifi County,@Timiza_CC joined @KilifiCountyGov,Delta Group (KeNHA) & @SemaNamimama1 for a Chief鈥檚 Baraza to raise GBV awareness. We reached 107 people,formed a community-led GBV committee,and strengthened #COSMEProject supported by @planinternatio2 #EndGBV

Today,@Timiza_CC,@AngazaKilifi,@TICAH_KE,and @KilifiCountyGov hosted a Town Hall forum on SRHR at Juwaba Hall. Leaders,CSOs,elders and youth discussed key SRHR barriers and committed to solutions,including an age-appropriate sexuality guide. Grateful to TICAH for the support!
Timiza hosted a successful workshop in Kilifi South with govt reps, CSOs, parents & community leaders to tackle teen pregnancy, HIV, and GBV. Stakeholders also gave input on Kilifi鈥檚 age-appropriate CSE guide.
Earlier Timiza conducted a capacity building training for our members and staff,focusing on leadership,monitoring and evaluation,reporting,and advocacy. This marks a significant milestone in strengthening our team鈥檚 capacity to drive meaningful change and transform our community
Trained champions are now cascading vital skills to 12 conservation groups in Takaungu- covering seedling planting,land prep & monitoring.Part of the #COSMEProject with @planinternatio2& @JaneGoodallInst,funded by @GAC_Corporate,this boosts local ownership&climate resilience.
