An example of a lie told today. Sean Feucht claims he was firebombed in a church (image 1). He boasts that they just kept worshipping anyways! One commenter is skeptical. What REALLY happened (image 2) looks more like he had a gender reveal party. Somebody tossed a smoke bomb…
Me yesterday, when I happened to be in New Orleans, not knowing there was a huge LCMS youth event there:
“Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.” -Psalm 25:5
Yooo.
Wendy’s Takis Fuego Meal? Better ready those senses for all that Fuego intensity.
The gospel of Jesus is not religion or irreligion, morality or immorality, moralism or relativism, conservatism or liberalism. Nor is it something halfway along a spectrum between two poles—it is something else altogether. —Tim Keller
Sure you may have a PCA BCO, but do you have a handmade leather BCO from Cherry Hill Bibles? Beautiful work!

Questions I’ll ask myself as I plan worship services / set lists: 1. What scripture can be read to tie songs together? 2. Is the whole Gospel narrative represented? 3. Are these songs singable? 4. Are these songs worth singing?
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Revelation 22:13 (NLT)
Smash burgers are overrated. Normal burgers are better. This is an undeniable fact of reality.
The theological implications of this are fascinating. Apparently, only Abby married Josh so its not polygamy? Could Brittany marry someone else? What does it mean to be one flesh with your spouse when you literally share one flesh with a different person already?
I honestly find Abigail and Brittany Hensel fascinating and a testament to human adaptability. I'm really glad they are leading happy lives with Abigail getting married
God did not command me to conform myself to Saint JoMama from the 5th century who miraculously healed foot odor with a serum made from his eyebrow sweat, or to submit myself to the 43rd non-ecumenical (yet somehow still authoritative) council on the proper use of finger bowls in…
