More trolling of Boston from New York’s Strongest
Cameras are EVERYWHERE! Don't get caught doing something you *maybe* shouldn't be doing. Thinking about doing something naughty, like dumping trash in the City? We've got video cameras all over. We WILL catch you - and you will pay the price!
At least Errol was wearing a tie…
@ErrolLouis sits down with @ZohranKMamdani on @InsideCityHall tonight at 7pm. Watch here: ny1.com/live
Andrew Cuomo says he believes he "did not run a good campaign,” but criticized rival Zohran Mamdani’s proposals. Watch the interview here: specne.ws/3jDZh5
Guess who went to Holliswood to talk with @errollouis about growing up in Queens? He also had some tough things to say about Zohran Mamdani. See the whole conversation tonight!@InsideCityHall @ny1

Is this a grandpa-level struggle at pronouncing Mamdani’s name or a never-ending troll of his Democratic opponent?
In it to win it.
Get me rewrite!
Photo from a source: @andrewcuomo on the Upper East Side—93rd & 2nd—this morning with top campaign aide @melissadderosa shooting what looks like an ad—as he’s reportedly staying in the mayoral race. Hasn’t held a press conference since losing the Democratic primary.
What a joy to read - an amazing celebration of a remarkable era in NY journalism by @WendellJamieson There’s never been another paper like New York Newsday. cjr.org/feature-2/thir… via @cjr

My quick read on the ranked-choice tabulations: every candidate who was in first place on primary night ended up winning today. No ranked-choice hopscotch!
Ranked-choice votes from Primary Day are about to be counted at Noon! Our special live coverage begins at 11:51 a.m.! @NY1

Mayor Eric Adams: This is a city not of socialism
I’m really enjoying this newfangled radio medium.
Check out this smart guy on NPR talking about out the primary! (@bobhardt) How a little known assemblyman became the likely Democratic nominee for mayor of NYC npr.org/2025/06/26/nx-…
Feeling pretty good about our early voting reporting on the NYC mayoral primary tonight
Nearly 25% of early voters are new Democratic primary voters, according to an analysis by John Mollenkopf, director of the Center for Urban Research at the CUNY Graduate Center who looked at voter rolls back to 2012 In 2021, it was 3%. gothamist.com/news/nearly-a-… via @gothamist
In case it wasn’t clear to anyone, @errollouis & @bobhardt have now effectively called the race for Mamdani (and started the Cuomo post-mortem). Only a hour and a little bit of change after the polls closed. Hardt: Cuomo’s big weakness was there was never *any* show of humility.
Impressive group of correspondents in "boxes" for @NY1's all-night primary coverage. Add one more box, and you've got "The Brady Bunch." (Alice? @bobhardt?)
Our wall-to-wall coverage of Primary Night is about to start! @NY1

I get that there’s a lifeguard shortage so here’s a modest proposal: post online where there are lifeguards stationed in Rockaway on a daily basis. Full transparency for beachgoers who can then adjust accordingly. @NYCParks
There were impressive Saturday night fireworks to mark the reopening of the beach at Beach 116th Street in the Rockaways. On Sunday, there wasn’t a single lifeguard stationed on that stretch of the “reopened” beach! @NYCParks @JoannAriola32
Listening to WNYC, I’m reminded that Andrew Cuomo has accomplished a lot over his long career but he’s still struggling to properly pronounce “Mamdani” on Primary eve.
