Investigative journalism is essential in a healthy democracy, folks. If you value freedom and accountable governments, let reporters do our jobs! #ableg #cdnpoli
Hi, yes, g'morning. This is awkward. But targeting a reporter - hi! - with surreptitiously obtained photos and details of her tooling around town is an attack on the public's right to know. theglobeandmail.com/canada/article…
The names are alphabetical. If one knows their ABCs and they are an informed voter, they'll find their candidate even if there was 1000 names
Folks who are upset about this don't understand geography it's about 552 nautical miles from CFB Cold Lake to Vancouver compared to 217 nautical miles from Portland to Vancouver. US F-15s were simply closer to respond compared to CF-18s. This is NORAD working as intended.
“[US] jets responded from a U.S. base at approximately 1:30 p.m, while Canadian CF-18 Hornets were also “in the process of responding”” What a damn joke, we’re unable to respond to domestic issues. This isn’t the first time. Do we have no shame or do we like being defenceless?
Hey Harman, please get the facts right. It's important. BC is importing energy as they are making a ton of money through Powerex buying below market (at times negative pricing) California solar and using the dams to sell back at a premium at night. It's largely a business case.
Have you been living under a rock? Oil and gas production increases have been growing rapidly over the past decade. Just cause some clown says Ottawa is blocking oil doesn’t mean that it’s true (it means you’re highly suggestible. economicdashboard.alberta.ca/dashboard/oil-…
This will be interesting to watch—cracks forming in banks of #SiteC dam reservoir Recall: former longtime BC Hydro engineer Vern Ruskin repeatedly warned that slides in the Peace River region's soft shale/silt were a geotechnical risk for the dam 🧵 facebook.com/groups/5491717…
In 2019 the NDP reviewed solar and wind power in detailed report. Titled “Zapped”.. The Liberals were striving for Energy Self Sufficiency.. and did some questionable deals .. The zapped document below details some of the findings. Rinse and Repeat? www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/far…
Apparently @hollyanndoan has enough readers. Blocked now. Open free press. @JennNaturalGirl isn’t open for questions either.

Subsidy or service? Be clear here on how postal service impedes rural development?
Private logistics companies simply won't service many rural areas, and especially won't do the Territories, at least not for anything less than 10x the price Canada Post currently does. Canada Post is effectively a subsidy to rural areas.
2 words - rural areas. Canada Post delivers to them even though it's not economical to do so, and many couriers won't deliver to them because of this. We need to stop looking at everything as a business. Some services can't be run like that. CP is one of them.
The benefits of the #sitec dam just keep piling up. We were told early on by @bchydro that the owners of the camp would have to deal with it. When did it transfer ownership, or has it?
Could the massive work camp that has housed crews building British Columbia's Site C Dam end up in the landfill? globalnews.ca/news/11188195/…
