Just an average Baloch janik who you might see on roads chanting JUSTICE! | ⚖️ | Trying to live outside the paradox in a world full of them
We are the new moon and rising sun of Balochistan.🌸✨

Anyone who adds a “but” to continue a discussion when you speak about mass killings, is not a person you should be around. Chances are they will justify your murder too. Empathy is the standard and it should not be lowered.
My beloved Chacha Jan, you left us too soon. You haven’t just orphaned us you’ve left a void in Naari and among its people. A man of unwavering principles and unmatched bravery. You will be missed deeply.
It is a great pity. Malik Muhammad Saif Lashari was an old workers of #Bibi_Shaheed and was the former district president of Pakistan Peoples Party District Jhal Magsi. He passed away today in Quetta @BBhuttoZardari @AseefaBZ @FaryalTalpurPk @MediaCellPPP @PakSarfrazbugti
Despite laws on paper, Balochistan remains a place where women are punished for choice, tribal 'justice' dictates life and death, and the state watches from the sidelines unless a video goes viral. The ‘honourable’ men of Balochistan dawn.com/news/1925649

Here's the photo of the man who ordered the killing of the woman and the man in the viral video Take a look who is he sitting next to? Go on, tell us again how they're Baloch and how "everything is not the fault of the state"
Everything is not the fault of the state or imperialism. Some of our cultural practices across Pakistan are obsolete, cruel, and anachronistic. We need to have the moral courage to critically examine our own culture as part of the struggle for liberation. Deflection is betrayal.
#Balochistan
As heavy rain flooded the streets of Islamabad, Baloch mothers and daughters sat on the drenched ground, demanding justice, but instead of offering shelter, the state answered with silence and suppression. #ReleaseBYCLeaders
Cultures are shaped by the state/imperialism. They don't exist in a vacuum. In situations of colonial rule, patriarchal forces at the local level are strengthened. This was the case in Afghanistan after years of US imperialist intervention; this is also the case in Balochistan...

This is what the so called non-tribal civilised, enlightend and modern Islamabad is doing to Baloch women protesters for the last one week. Shame on your enlightment and civilization. #ReleaseBYCLeaders

And perhaps you will choose not to write about these women. Perhaps their names will not fit into your timelines, your articles, your campaigns. Perhaps their courage, determination and bravery and the way they sit in the mud, in the rain, in the cold stare of authorities is too…
So much hate towards (Balochis) but not on the men who decides the fate of women!!
But why must govt action always depend on public pressure when it comes to honour killings? Why can’t the state act without public outrage? A young woman was killed in the name of honour in Jaffarabad four days ago. Did you take notice? No, because there was no public outcry.
The only thing different this time was the video. That’s what made people talk.Without it, even her death would’ve been silenced. #Balochistan
