Building the future of manufacturing: @atomic_inc, @reindsummit, @newindustrials
i believe reindustrialization is a duty to pursue the spirit of doing hard things that made us great, build a real economy, and reject a 50 year orthodoxy that rationalized post-industrial society as a real solution. we're just getting started.
My latest piece about the movement to Reindustrialize America: “You can’t really offer your citizens much,” he said, “if all you’re asking them to do is sit around, trade crypto, watch Netflix and order Uber Eats.” @reindsummit nytimes.com/2025/07/20/us/…
mold design is easily one of the most complex disciplines in engineering progressive mold design, in particular, is one of the most daunting areas from a CAD and engineering considerations perspective In my opinion, nothing else comes close the people I’ve met who do this well…
"Why is it so expensive to make molds in USA?" Exhibit 1: an extremely simple 2-part mold.
factory owners/operators: please take your digital security more seriously, if you aren't currently and have likely vulnerabilities please DM and i can refer providers. also even if you don't plan on defense work, it may be good to check the cmmc reqs.

another great piece on @reindsummit by @bungarsargon
the immense value of oneshotting tooling development is really only understood by those that have felt this pain before (spoiler it's a multi trillion dollar problem)

this is a very easy timeline for a manufacturing startup to hit a billion dollar run rate, which would obviously crush 90% of software companies. enjoy!
Private companies staying private longer than ever. Startup founders are signing up for a decade (maybe 1.5 decades) AFTER seed. Fund managers expecting to wrap things up in the standard 10-yr fund lifecycle will be disappointed.
at atomic we chose to develop tech that lets us outcompete anyone on earth, plus we mostly only do commercial because it's a bigger market. it's possible to change the default to build and fund this way. focus on building technology first that you can scale into.
Tons of funding and excitement going into reindustrialization (which I love!) but reality is most startups default to selling to defense/aerospace (where $$ is), but these are actually already onshore by necessity...so it's more of expanding/improving capacity vs. bringing it…
thank you for reindustrializing
we have signed a deal for an additional 4.5 gigawatts of capacity with oracle as part of stargate. easy to throw around numbers, but this is a _gigantic_ infrastructure project. some progress photos from abilene:
Symphony machine tools are literally arriving daily this week. This giant lathe is one of the smaller units. Yesterday we took delivery of a 65,000lb machine—which just barely fit through the loading door. Hardware is just more fun.
The first machine has arrived in Boom’s new shop. 🚛🛠️ Our Mazak Quick Turn 450MY lathe is installed and ready to start supporting Symphony—the engine for sustainable supersonic flight. The shop is coming online, and there’s much more to come. ✈️
Go sign a lease on a manufacturing space and start reindustrializing. Here’s how: (1/30)

We never de-industrialized. The reindustrialize people are viewing the world through pure nostalgianomics glasses. See thread: x.com/FreeTradeBryan…
If you’re doing anything to Reindustrialize America, think 10x bigger. This is a multi trillion dollar opportunity and we are in the first inning.
I’ve always wondered how to train a tech forward workforce. Especially after @reindsummit Seeing what @DiracInc is doing with automated work instructions made it clear most of my manufacturing training could benefit from that level of detail. It got me thinking. We teach…
What is the disconnect between engineering and manufacturing? In this live Spotlight Talk at @reindsummit, @FilArons, CEO of @DiracInc, explains how engineering teams work inside product‑lifecycle‑management (PLM) systems, while manufacturing teams rely on…

You cannot have a great civilization without the ability to make things. That ability—manufacturing—is the foundation of power. @2112Power of @HadrianInc in @TheFP on reindustralizing America: thefp.com/p/america-wont…
The American spirit is unmatched. When America builds, she builds. 🇺🇸
Honored to have @SecDef Pete Hegseth share his vision for Reindustrialization with our audience last week. He inspired us with a Detroit-based, WWII slogan: "You make it Right...They will make it Fight." Sir, we WILL make it right, so you and our military can fight.
Can we collectively take a moment to thank the many good people who brought @reindsummit 2.0 to life? Specifically, I want to congratulate my dear friends @gregorymbernn @austinbishop @aphysicist @falondonohue @MikeSlagh and @rxkater for their incredible work rallying America’s…
