My parents were murdered on October 7th, and if anyone is slapping us in the face, it's people like you, who for the past 20 years have failed to prevent violence and bloodshed in Israel-Palestine, whilst making inflammatory remarks. Your administration could stop the war…
The United States strongly rejects @EmmanuelMacron’s plan to recognize a Palestinian state at the @UN general assembly. This reckless decision only serves Hamas propaganda and sets back peace. It is a slap in the face to the victims of October 7th.
All roads are closed before us in Gaza, The sea no longer sails us, and the land no longer shelters us. We are besieged by sorrow, by pain, by hunger, The days devour us, and the hours abandon us.
What's the explanation for why Starmer won't do it then? How about some actual journalism instead of just obligingly printing their alibis for politicians?

I'm not sure that people realize how abnormal it is for journalists to be killed in wars. More have been killed in Gaza (232) than in the Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War (+Cambodia and Laos), the Yugoslav wars, and the Afghanistan war, combined.
Breaking: An Israeli airstrike just killed Adam Yahya Abu Harbid, a cameraman for Al-Quds Al-Youm channel, along with all members of his family, after targeting their tent in Al-Yarmouk market in Gaza City.
Trafalgar Square now blocked off as well as Whitehall, there are so many protestors tonight. End the genocide.
For two years, we were killed by every kind of missile and warplane , you got used to that. Today, we die because there is no food… don’t worry, you’ll get used to this too. After 24 hours in the hospital, I was lucky to get one loaf of bread. Others slept hungry 💔

France is planning to recognise the state of Palestine. Meanwhile, Keir Starmer has described the starvation in Gaza as “unspeakable and indefensible” but still won't DO anything. Recognising the state of Palestine is the least our government can do.
Doctors are apparently too important to strike but not important enough to have their pay restored. They are being paid 20% less in real terms than they were in 2008. Solidarity with all striking doctors.

The appalling scenes in Gaza are unrelenting. The UK will pull every lever we have to get food and lifesaving support to Palestinians, and we will evacuate children who need urgent medical assistance. This humanitarian catastrophe must end.
If your pay fell behind everyone else's by this much, would you strike? I support @BMA resident doctors, forced to take strike action this week.
Despite police crackdown, ten of thousands Palestinians and Jews marched in the town of Sakhnin to oppose the war, starvation, and the occupation. When brutality is policy and silence is complicity, this shows another way of shared resistance rooted in a shared future.
They're feeling some heat. But humanitarian professionals will tell you aid drops are a terrible and ineffective way to deliver aid. It will not be enough. This is not a serious attempt to deliver aid. It's window-dressing, a pose.

Fixed it for you, @Keir_Starmer. The UK is an ally to Israel's atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank. Now is the time to make our voices heard: Call on the UK Government to end its complicity. Sign our petition: bit.ly/4kXTLJs
The suffering and starvation unfolding in Gaza is unspeakable and indefensible.
