Grok now automatically decides how much to think about your question! You can override “Auto” mode and force heavy thinking at will with one tap.
🚨Huge Update: Grok has finally dropped a Unified model... Grok now chooses the best mode with complexity of a query and adjusts with its built-in dynamic reasoning For simple tasks it provides direct, and faster answers. For complex tasks, it employs deeper reasoning..…
I designed the @xai logo. The "i" in the first version was slightly slanted (loosely inspired by the columns of the Parthenon). Because it rendered poorly at lower resolutions I quickly updated it the current design. Tons of designers got triggered, which I found quite amusing.

Nice
Noticed a really neat @grok design engineering detail: autofocus the input whenever you press a key. Time-saving and reduces the user input error rate. Great @nextjs app router app overall, fast & reliable.

I’m raising my kids on the ancestral diet I grew up in: math, code, and anime
People are reporting that Gemini 2.5 keeps threatening to kill itself after being unsuccessful in debugging your code ☠️
await async is for people who don't actually understand parallelism. Real devs use promise chaining If you can confidently turn any* piece of code into a single expression, message me, we're hiring.
I wonder how much code out there is unnecessarily slow because it looks like this: const a = await taskA() const b = await taskB() instead of: const [a, b] = await Promise.all([taskA, taskB]) Async/await is a really convenient footgun
