New in Light & Air, comrades Connell H and Amy W go in depth for the motivation of R-07, Principles of Party Building, and argue for a strategy of "party surrogate in form, clean break in content"
As the Zohran campaign picks up again, it might be interesting to try some noon Wednesday shifts, especially for trying to target some of the senior buildings across Brooklyn and Queens. In turn, it could help us build a constituency for this working group/formation.
DSA needs a non-ideological caucus for workers with non-traditional schedules, because if you work second/third/swing/weekend shifts you basically can’t participate in anything ever
Whenever I travel, I love to pay a visit to the main branch of the local public library. They show our cities at their most aspirational—what they would choose to be if national, state, and local governments chose to invest in human flourishing rather than human repression.

Steven and I worked together closely on the Stop Cop City campaign when I lived in ATL, and his energy is an inspiration. Steven is the perfect candidate to rally our youth wing on the front lines of right wing reaction, and I look forward to his continued leadership🫡
Steven is an NCC member running for co-chair to take the fight to the police state and build a revolutionary mass party. As co-chair, Steven will prioritize the expansion of YDSA's sanctuary campus campaign with a focus on overseeing intensive and in-person chapter mentorship.

At a certain point your reading habits will shift from desire to drive: it's not that you'll enjoy reading. It's that you'll be extremely uncomfortable when you don't read for stretches of time because you'll feel your brain atrophying moment by moment.
the best way to turn a student off of books forever is to try to trick them into thinking that reading is fun. reading is not fun, and if the only reason they are reading is for fun they will stop when they realize the truth.
🧵 We are proud to announce the MUG slate for YDSA's National Coordinating Committee! Read about what our comrades Steven R and Claire IJ hope to bring to next year's NCC 👇
Boston City Hall they will never make me hate you

Really need to write something up tbh but just so proud of our work. Look at this photo 85+ attendees in south Florida to talk about building a stronger labor movement. A DSA organized event with support from IUPAT, AFGE, IBEW, AFSCME, NALC, UFF, SBWU, AFA, CWA, UNITE HERE, SEIU
THIS is what a socialist in office looks like
I'm extremely disappointed in this vote. The Iron Dome is not a defensive tool if it's being used by a country that has invaded Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran in the last two years... Calling that defensive is Orwellian to put it mildly. Shameful.
ARE YOU ENJOYING THE SHOW? REFILL YOUR POPCORN… YOU’LL LOVE THIS NEXT PART
HOLY SHIT ROUND 1 RESULTS
So many people showed up to listen to me, @kareemisposting, @lentil_enjoyer, @maevehove, and @monsteramags talk with Boston DSA about Zohran’s victory and the challenges ahead! And thanks to @daschunk and @souralmonds for putting this panel on. The joyous work continues!

I’m out canvassing with Willie Burnley Jr. for mayor in Somerville, MA today! We’re going to protect local artists by taxing AirBnB, create an office of social housing, and FIGHT THE RATS!

After four years, it remains unbeaten.

The furor over the so-called "Ground Zero Mosque" was one of the most horrifyingly racist news cycles of my lifetime and I feel like it has been almost entirely forgotten. The study of 9/11 and its afterlives is still incredibly important!

This was the amendment. Israel is demanding this funding to continue its war against Iran and Yemen. They strike these countries knowing they'll have US money and weapons. AOC did not join her colleagues in voting for the amendment. 6-422 for more war.
The House just voted on an amendment to cut funding for Israeli Cooperative Programs. It failed 6–422. Only six voted yes, a strange mix: MTG, Massie, Al Green, Summer Lee, Omar, and Tlaib.
