Yet more City Steve Spin. As believable as his promise before the election not to impose the Family Farm Tax 🤔 Labour think they can get away with misleading the public. We aren’t stupid - we know our bills will go up. He also hasn’t answered the question of who will pick up…
Environment Sec Steve Reed tells @SkyNews the govt has 'secured £104 billion investment' in the water sector - or to put it another way, bills are going up an average 36%
Statistics show that Labour’s disastrous tax policies are crippling British family farms with record numbers of closures this year. Labour do not understand our rural communities and our rural communities cannot afford Labour. The @Conservatives will axe the Family Farm Tax.

Businesses, jobs and even lives have been lost over this government tax policy. Destroying the British family farm and our rural communities is not something to celebrate on LinkedIn. telegraph.co.uk/money/tax/inhe…
Get ya cultivators and sprayers out people we need to #SaveOurFamilyFarms or #SOFF for short this is liverpool use the #SOFF on ya socials put them where they can be seen @loosecollie @wheat_daddy @TWBFarms
Labour’s immoral family farm tax is destroying livelihoods and will wipe out generations of hard work. When the @Conservatives return to government, we will reverse it. No ifs, no buts. Standing up for our farmers is standing up for Britain.
When I challenged City Steve to come clean that the “£104bn private investment” is to be paid by increased household bills, he denied it, claiming I did “not understand private sector investment.” Turns out I was right. Glad he’s finally caught up. news.sky.com/story/104bn-of…
Labour turned the sewage crisis into political theatre. But as suspected, it turns out they didn’t have a plan - and they’ve decided to use ours instead. 🧵A thread
Labour will halve sewage pollution by water companies by the end of the decade. bbc.com/news/articles/…
Labour came into government with no ideas.
Well what an incredible morning this is going to be. Labour govt trumpeting a long list of stuff they claim they've done to deal with the water industry. Tories say they just nicked their old policies, thing is the Tories are right. Example. 1. All sewage overflows to have…
Taxes up, bills up, funding pulled and now more red tape - thanks to @UKLabour and their friends, the @LibDems. Farmers are telling me that Labour’s tax hikes mean they can’t afford to employ staff and are laying people off. The (Un)employment Bill will make it worse.

And today, unemployment is up again thanks to Labour’s Jobs Tax - their chickens are coming home to roost. express.co.uk/news/politics/…
Labour’s new land grab threatens Britain’s food security and will push up food prices. Nationalising farmland won’t fix planning, it’ll destroy what makes Britain great.
When will @danielzeichner announce the new SFI scheme? Last month he said “We’re planning to make the announcement in the next few weeks” Parliament starts recess next week, so where’s the announcement? Or is the Govt planning to slip it out when there’s no time for scrutiny?
Given that Part 3 of the Planning & Infrastructure Bill is a complete mess, Labour ministers could do with this training before they try and rush through anymore chaotic legislation.

We’d better get used to this. Labour is making it easier for trade unions to call strikes under their (Un)Employment Rights Bill #labourstrikes
Decisions I have taken mean that Resident Doctors have had a 28.9% pay increase covering the last three years. These are not grounds for strike action. And most BMA resident doctors didn’t vote to strike. I will be meeting the BMA today.

After #Groundswell, usually I come away from it feeling inspired, and full of aspiration and drive for another year and a bright future. This year however, I haven’t. Government policies have completely changed my thought process. A thread 🧵@SteveReedMP @RachelReevesMP 1/19
This is awful for local residents and farmers. The Environment Secretary must share information urgently and grip this to protect the local population and animals. Defra Ministers should be hauling in @sewateruk and demanding action now. @SteveReedMP @DefraGovUK
Hundreds of households in East Kent have been without water for 3 days. @sewateruk has a bottle distribution point for residents but there’s NO WATER for livestock. DEFRA ministers should have intervened but no sign…@stevereedmp - what are you doing to sort this out?
