As a Somerset lad, you’ll never find me far from a cider! Love them or loathe them, @jdwtweetsuk is backing British brands especially South West cider makers. Great to visit the White Bull in Tiverton for a pint!

On our Exmoor farm, we’re planting herbal leys, good for pollinators, birds, and our livestock. Labour cut the funding for this with no notice or replacement. Bad for farmers and food security but worse for nature.
A typical Sunday morning in the West Country, a scene repeated across the country. Sunday as it should be 🇬🇧

Isobel and I are heartbroken by the news of a child’s death in today’s collision. We lived a few hundred metres from the site, at the bottom of the hill. This is devastating for our close community in Minehead & Exmoor. Thank you to the emergency services for their work today.
Tragically, we are confirming this evening that a child has died after a collision on the A396 at Cutcombe Hill in Exmoor this afternoon. Please read our latest statement following the A396 coach collision. #A396Incident
Labour’s new land grab threatens Britain’s food security and will push up food prices. Nationalising farmland won’t fix planning, it’ll destroy what makes Britain great.
Liberal Democrats backed the Conservative motion against Labour’s tax hikes tonight, except @RachelGilmourLD. She voted in support of Labour's taxes on jobs and farming. Last year, she signed a letter with Jeremy Corbyn demanding higher taxes. Is she in the wrong party?

7 years married today. Whether we’re moving cows, standing in a sports hall at 4am losing an election, or raising three children. There is no one I’d rather be doing life with than Isobel.

Brilliant to have @RobertJenrick join us in Tiverton on Friday. What happens in Westminster has huge impacts in rural parts of the country. Grateful to everyone who came, and to Robert for speaking so powerfully about the challenges ahead. The future won’t build itself! 🇬🇧

Milk straight from the farmer, is there anything better? Every pound you spend with a small business is a pound that stays in your community. It supports local jobs, families, and that’s what matters.
Speak to any business at the moment and the story’s the same. Fewer customers and higher costs, many are cutting back or closing. Labour talked down the economy, then raised taxes on the people who create jobs. We need drastic action before more are lost.

Weighed @CarverEmily & @PatrickChristys’ namesakes last week. Calves are happy and healthy. Turning West Country sun, rain, and grass into great British beef! 🇬🇧
Your average Liberal Democrat MP’s year. Looking after themselves whilst standing with Labour. Making your family poorer and our country weaker.

Every pound you spend at a small business stays in your community. Pay with cash and there are no fees. Farmers’ markets are brilliant but so is your high street! This venison scotch egg was worth the trip. 🦌
