football eh 🇨🇦
Every elite talent was busy matching Messi ffs
Ruslan Mba is gonna draw Neymar comparisons soon I'm sure. Speed of action faster than anyone around him, has the flair side to his game too But I have to ask. Why is every great talent left footed? 😭
Nerd friends, who are the best under 50M and under 25 MFs who would fit (most) of Amorim's requirements on and off the ball? Popular choices are Cisse, Agoume anybody got any other good but also possible names?
#mufc planning for Toby Collyer to leave on loan, which would pave the way for a midfield signing.
Good decision, Collyer needs to learn how to pass so a relatively dominant pressing side would probably be ideal. Have him be a roving B2B, work on crashing the 18 + passing to be more than just a Duracell bunny
🚨 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Toby Collyer is set to leave Manchester United on loan this summer. #MUFC [@samuelluckhurst]
Mr Erling Haalarse
One of the underrated attributes that makes a difference wrt box movement is short distance pace When you're constantly operating in spaces 6-12 yards long, being able to create separation in those first 3-5 yards can be a gamechanger even if it's just in a straight line
Forcible club sponsored trips to Turkey for the marginal gains
Too many marginal gains still go unexploited. If Cucurella’s hair draws ~1 red a year, imagine what a full XI of mops could do.
This is gonna sound absolutely hilarious but I see Calafiori in this abit. Shaw's passing bag was always top notch, found the gaps between MF lines and FB/CB areas so well, and used to be absolutely rapid and powerful even if he did become a better crosser technically
Luke Shaw vs Swansea City Pre-Leg Break
Yea tbf to him I don't think Mahrez meant it in a bad way, just that they're less decisive with output because they're younger and have alot less game time. He says himself they're "very good" but lack output which is very true, City signing more unproven people than in the past
He was 24 when he first touched double digits in goals. It was his third season in the prem lol
I think the nerds have gotten bored and started playing around with their food to be brutally honest. Isak + Ekitike is highly questionable, but stacking elite quality can (almost) never go wrong
It's a visually impressive move dgmw, but I'm beginning to question the nerds' squad-building
Sadly that's kinda how he plays, it;s been Rashford's biggest flaw for quite a while probably since 2020 with the injuries. He is way too willing to pass on responsibility with through balls and doesn't attack space off ball aswell as he should anymore too, needs more aggression
Rashford has the perfect speed to match Balde but man.. my boy got to work on taking players on. Especially at a Club like Barcelona and a league as La liga. His pace is ridiculous once he adds dribbling to it, it’s up from there
Biggest bum I ever flagged early, sad for him individually of course but I don't think Joao Felix was ever nearly as good as most people thought he was. Mental aspect of football, decision making and tactical fit for the elites was always hugely questionable.
🚨🟡🔵 EXCLUSIVE: Al Nassr agree deal to sign João Félix from Chelsea, here we go! Player authorized to fly for medical and join Al Nassr, initial transfer fee worth €30m plus add-ons and heavy sell-on clause to meet Chelsea €50m valuation in future. Paperwork being prepared.
Amorim ideal game of foot(hoof)ball
This is the fundamental Amorim disconnect Pushed the WBs high to try and pushback Bilbao, but it's pointless without Bruno in the pivot because the passes will never reach them. Just got WBs too high and 10s in pockets they aren't recieving enough in. Quality + tactics issue
Know it's only MD2 of Preseason but very good sign that our players look WAYYY fitter than West Ham
