Emile Smith Rowe hive. Our starboys are taking Arsenal back to the top. Focusing on analysis, mainly on Arsenal
The thing with most of these "football Twitter, bantering other club" debates is that I'm not entirely serious mostly, I'm just "Twittering" and defending my club Ask me anything, and I'll give an actual, honest take on it. Can be a player, event, or something outside football
Would've been super funny signing a guy that spent 4 years in North London as a youth being non-HG. He was even at Palace before that lmao
🚨 Noni Madueke has been reclassified as a 'homegrown' player by the Premier League (@Dan_Sheldon_ @gunnerblog)
I beg to differ
Good football stories don't win trophies
3 players in a row with that shirt scored over 90 goals for this club btw
“History of the number” and it’s just one player, the rest to wear it were bums
He didn't realise he could receive a pass that wasn't issued as a challenge
Tears he’s so happy not to be playing with Partey anymore
Time to back the guy. I don't care about your reservations. Number 14. Bully of any bad defender. Tireless runner. Gets off shots. Our future gunman
£54.8m in this market is really good tbh
🚨 Arsenal reach total agreement with Sporting Lisbon to sign Viktor Gyokeres. #SportingCP grant 27yo striker permission to travel; medical scheduled for Saturday. Sweden international expected to wear iconic No14 shirt as new #AFC front man @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/65103…
I'm a sucker for a good football story. And Gyökeres has a good damn football story. Taking a club from back-to-back relegations to back-to-back promotions (they got relegated back-to-back again after he left). U19 EUROs top scorer. Never had a chance taken on him. Until now.
At the Emirates against London City Lionesses, live on BBC One. We will be there
Fixtures have landed 🛬 Take a look at our 2025/26 @BarclaysWSL fixtures, Gooners! 👀
Henry, Walcott, and Aubameyang all scored over 90 goals for the club. Let's just pretend Nketiah didn't happen

If we have the budget for Isak, we have the budget for Eze + one other (maybe wages make this harder). I'm not sure about squad space, but I definitely need to see us sign Eze at least
🚨 JUST IN from @SamiMokbel_BBC: Arsenal have previously been credited with an interest in Alexander Isak and have the budget, but they have since turned their attention to Viktor Gyokeres and are close to finalising a deal. 🇸🇪
Imagine being so disrespectful in a FRIENDLY that your manager has to immediately sub you lmao
14 years ago today, Mario Balotelli turned a chance worth 0.86(xG) into one worth 0.07(xG)…
Maybe I'm crazy and am just a bit Madueke fan, but I really like this?
There will be different lineups/permutations (I put a couple of the shiny toys into this one), but here's how it'd look with Madueke at LW.
2nd top scorer + top assister in the Championship Top scorer in Europe Top scorer in Europe Back to back to back He wasn't in my top 3 choices tbh, but I feel like people have other reasons they wanted him
Genuine genuine question and of course I’ll back him when he joins but… If Gyokeres didn’t have that celebration what % of fans who want him…would still want him?
You can tell me Gyökeres isn't gonna be elite and that's fair. Luckily we didn't pay elite money for him. You don't need a superteam to win things. We've found this out plenty in football. You just need the right pieces. Hopefully we get those pieces
I remember a time when Rob Holding was seen as the ball playing CB option at the club
Football is funny man..can’t believe there was a time when we were all scared whenever the ball was passed to Gabriel magalheas 😂🙏🏾
Isak's aerial duel numbers are SHOCKING how have I not seen these before? 20% win rate in 23/24 😭😭 Gyökeres is at about 50% in each of the last 2 seasons, but down at 30% in the CL, and 46% in the EL
Can someone explain to me why people always talk about Gyökeres being poor in the air but never talk about Isak also being poor in the air?
