FT. United 2-1 West Ham. Bright start to #mufc's pre-season tour. Performance in the first half particularly good, despite only scoring through a penalty. Players seem fitter than at this stage in previous years. Majority of starters could/should start vs Arsenal.

Amorim making wholesale changes slightly earlier than scheduled after Bowen got West Ham back in it. Starters played for more than an hour, which has been unheard of in #mufc's opening tour games in recent years.

Mbeumo isn't deemed ready to play as he reported for pre-season later due to his transfer. Brentford also came back for pre-season a week later than #mufc. Mazraoui out with a knock.

#mufc XI much stronger and majority of starters could feasibly start against Arsenal in three weeks tomorrow. Mainoo was excellent here two years ago and could do with a similar performance.
