A fantastic graphic that shows the disparity of strength of schedule not only across different conferences, but also within conferences The 12th power ranked team would be projected 3 more wins with Texas Tech’s schedule (10-2 projected) than if they had Florida’s schedule (7-5…
v1 Schedule Difficulty Rankings for all 136 FBS teams The No. 12 power-rated team would be expected to win: •Just 6.5 regular season games against Arkansas’ schedule •A whopping 11.7 regular season games against Liberty’s schedule
This is what the CFP Committee has caused by not valuing strength of schedule Ohio St and the Big Ten are saying they would play 0 P4 Non-conf opponents unless they were guaranteed 4 AQs Everyone playing 8 CONFERENCE GAMES, and 2 non-con P4 opponents is the way to go
Ryan Day, in supporting Tony Petitti’s CFP plan, says they would continue to schedule a 10th game against a P4 foe if there are four AQs. If not, “then I don’t think it makes sense to do that.”
New Blue Chip Ratio just dropped @BudElliott3 cbssports.com/college-footba…
Indiana cancels home/home series w/Virginia in 2027-28 & must pay Cavs’ $500,000 for canceling series, @michaelniziolek reports. Instead, Indiana has added home games w/Kennesaw State in 2027, Austin Peay in 2028 & Eastern Illinois in 2029

THEY CAN’T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS
Don’t worry… Indiana saw they were rewarded for a weak schedule this year and went and scheduled 2025 non-conference games against: Old Dominion Kennesaw State Indiana State The committee better not reward them for it next year
LET’S GOOOOOOO
Breaking: Labaron Philon returning to Alabama, withdraws from NBA Draft.
Considered or not, the message was clear and has been for a while. Play Western Illinois, FIU, and Charlotte OOC. Get killed in your lone game against a ranked team, avoid losses, beat nobodies, be comfortably in the playoffs.
The entire reason Alabama was even considered down the stretch was its strength of schedule. The idea that them not getting in meant that they did not receive credit for playing a tough schedule is nonsense.
100% correct A fundamental shift is needed by the playoff committee. Wins against quality teams should be prioritized over “not losing”. If this doesn’t happen non-conference scheduling is going to go downhill quickly. There isn’t an incentive to schedule tough non-conference…
SEC's Greg Sankey said in current College Football Playoff format, "it's clear that not losing" is more important than playing quality opponents
The current college football ranking system does not reward tough non-scheduling The system rewards scheduling to avoid losses
College football 2025 out of conference schedule mega 🧵debunks a common SEC myth Number of P4 Opponents: SEC: 18 ACC: 24 Big 10: 13 Big 12: 12 # without a p4: SEC: 1 ACC: 2 Big 10: 6 Big 12: 4 # w/multiple p4 OOCs: SEC: 3 ACC: 8 Big 10: 0 Big 12: 0
On the Big 12 Network right now… Real Bama fans know the importance of this 2011 game

SEC Bias
Final conference breakdown at the 2025 NFL Draft: • 79: SEC • 71: Big Ten • 42: ACC • 31: Big 12 • 7: FBS Indep. • 6: Mountain West, American • 4: MAC • 3: Big Sky • 2: MVFC • 1: Sun Belt, Pac-12, CAA, CUSA, UAC, SWAC
Wild guess on the Projected WRs on the Packers Roster: - Reed - Doubs - Golden - Savion - Wicks - Heath IR - Watson Cuts - Hardman - Melton
There's gonna be some surprising cuts in Green Bay this summer because there's just too many bodies at receiver right now. Christian Watson Romeo Doubs Dontayvion Wicks Jayden Reed Matthew Golden Savion Williams Mecole Hardman Bo Melton Malik Heath
My top 5 players remaining: #18 Shadeur Sanders, QB, Colorado #50 Billy Bowman Jr., S, Oklahoma #55 Dylan Sampson, RB, Tennessee #59 Miles Frazier, OG, LSU #62 Tory Horton, WR, Colorado St.
If I’m Shadeur Sanders, I’m suing the NCAA to go back. He’s taking a pay cut going to the NFL
Recruiting rankings matter
How 2025 #NFLDraft 1st-round picks ranked as high school recruits in the @247Sports rankings: 5-star: 11 4-star: 15 3-star: 4 NR: 2 Blue-chip recruits accounted for 81.3% (!!!) of the players drafted tonight. Hell of a job by the 247 rankings team.
Golden is a high floor pick for the Packers Not sure if he’ll be a number 1 WR, but will be a solid receiver with great speed and ability to make contested catches I’m OK with it
