Work WITH her to prep the kids for school. While she’s cooking, bath and dress them. If she said no to a maid, she definitely has her reasons. By the way, a maid helping is not a replacement for you to take an active role in prepping the kids. Step up, please.
Can a woman get her kids ready for school without shouting? Please recommend ways to do it for me because my wife shouts too much.
To God be all the glory! We are the Champions of Africa yet again 🙏🏾
This picture is in a dollhouse. A dear family friend (Dolores “Teedy” Lee) who died recently had been working on it for decades. She was an expert woodworker and passionate about antiques. Take a little tour!
When people ask me “what’s your name”.., I say “Yemisi”. That’s my name. They go Mrs? Miss? Just Yemisi.
Between now and December you will dedicate a new home, a new car, new opportunities, high paying jobs, expansion, (insert what you desire) etc. in Jesus name.
Unfortunately/fortunately, if a word is used with regularity - by a certain number of people - for a certain length of time - to mean a certain and specific thing it becomes a word, whether we like it or not.
This is the kind of friendship I like.
It is not about small talk or petty pursuits together. Or lengthy conversations & extravagant gifts. As long as we are buddies with a shared history, a meeting in the future is guaranteed. You could go for years, man. Do your life, but when you need me, hit me up. Do not die
this belongs in the crisis management hall of fame
Thank you for your interest in Astronomer.
A woman I buy food from said she won't be opening today because her child is graduating. She closed her shop to attend it. That's her work and she sacrificed it for a day just to be with her daughter. Too many excuses in this comment section toward men not attending
Children’s end of session party, 97% present parents are mothers, 3% are fathers. Children will forever lean more towards their mothers 🤦🏽♂️😭
So people think mothers who attend end of the year parties in their children’s school are not working? That they are not contributing? Or in fact, it wasn’t the woman who paid for the party and wears? In 2025 o. Keep making excuses.
I love how that tweets brought people with warped thinking to my TL. So I could actively mute and block those who refuse to engage logically, even in disagreements.
This is another day to drink water and stay hydrated.
NOLLYWOOD!!!! WOMEN DON'T SLEEP AND WAKE UP WITH WIGS !!!
"He is not doing Nigerians any favours." After investing 10+ years of his life providing free health educating, that only started to yield returns for him some 2-3 years back. But "He is not doing Nigerians any favours."
Nothing else to add to the thread. Let everyone focus on the business that pays them.
Afi’bi su oloore. The way we behave, we make people regret doing favours for us.
Nigeria’s history is rife with examples of people who fought on the side of the people, whom the people turned betrayed by silently asking them: “Who asked you?” And it’s generational, apparently. Like the crows, that inherent self-sabotage is passed down through generations.
“We watch your videos, so you must do what we say.” Na dem.
I’ve said it time and again: Many people will do things for you and hype you just so they can hold it over your head in the future. Their help is actually a weapon to silence you, it’s just not activated yet. That’s why the glorification of poverty should not be embraced.
Describes most Nigerians to a T. Many people are ungrateful.
Imagine spending YEARS and personal resources doing something entire funded institutions should be doing… Then the people who were benefitting from that sacrifice turn around to ask “But did we ask you?”
