That time I went on @Flagrant2Army, articulated the gospel, and I’m pretty sure @andrewschulz got it.
When will we make it illegal for homosexuals to purchase babies?
Unless a miracle happens, this child has almost no chance at a normal life.
Very apropos of this tweet beneath.... Here Dr Lane discusses the minutes of the acts of the Council of Trent, detailing the discussions that lead to the Tridentine definition on justification Context showing (IMO) just how extreme the Tridentine view is
Protestants are essentially right on justification simply b/c we all know that we fail to live up to the divine standard required by the law, regardless of our theological persuasion. Thus we need all daily pray "forgive us our daily trespasses" because we are all guilty of…

I've continued to think about the MOST common objection online to my Waldo argument for a finite past (also the most common objection to the Grim Reaper Argument). The objection is that *contradictions* (or some incompatible pair of propositions) are what generate the…

Is Redeemed Zoomer 12? What a silly, childish thing to say.
My post on Everett Ferguson’s history of baptism a couple days ago prompted some to ask about other resources on the topic. I’m not the expert on this topic, but these books are good too, one from a Lutheran and the other by Baptists. I hope you continue to study the matter!

"It is fundamentally wrong to say that Baptist witness as we see it in the seventeenth century was a product of modernity and its deeply ingrained individualism. That shows a woeful ignorance of the Baptist worlds of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries" -Michael A.G. Haykin
Thomism = Nicene Creed, SBC sex abuse scandal, and the Book of Common Prayer, apparently. L take.
Why? Thomism
As the co-author of this SBC resolution, and a member of an SBC church who will be reciting the Nicene creed this coming Lord’s Day before participating in the Lord’s Supper, I can assure you that reports of our “rejection” of creeds for “solo scriptura” are demonstrably false.
It is interesting to learn from former Southern Baptist theologians that Southern Baptists are averse to the Nicene Creed, especially since we identified ourselves with it in a resolution just this year.
