I called for an immigration moratorium in a piece early last year for @TheConReaderSub. Now, 46% of the public back this measure, and 63% want immigration brought down below 100,000. Immigration restriction is the mainstream, immigration maximalism is the extreme.

Very powerful 👇 Even in seats the Tories lost to the Lib Dems in '24, MORE VOTES were lost directly to Reform. The Lib Dems just had to go from 2nd to 1st place. It doesn't mean there were that many direct Tory - LD switchers. There weren't.

In 2023-24 78% of new social housing tenancies were granted for life (203,000 tenancies). 👇 91% of Local Authority-based lets were lifetime. My tenancy is 12 months guaranteed. Why were >200,000 people given lifetime subsidised rent surety last year?

Boomers had the most advantageous house price to income ratio in history. If they wanted to own a home, they could. That is not true of Millennials / Gen Z. The state pension is triple locked. That's a transfer from working age people (who have fewer assets). This is maths.
