CW bc this is nasty! 🤢 the JFK8 @amazon warehouse flooded w raw sewage today and the company wanted to keep the building open! this is insane and a huge safety hazard! this is why we need a contract with workplace safety provisions! and we needed it yesterday! @amazonlabor

Raw sewage backed up into work areas at JFK8--not the first time, too. This, combined with the heat, made it unbearable to work in the stench and is absolutely unsafe. Amazon needs to start acting quickly to send workers home in these conditions. @amazonlabor @amazonteamsters
