We have 1 more week of fcstd above nrml temps. The ECMWF & AIFS-ENS both fcst the 1-7 day US #corn prod wghtd precip to be ~4°F above nrml and the GEFS is fcstng a value of 6.2°F above nrml. This is something we need to monitor over the next week, but...see below! #oatt #agwx

No twisted tassels in the Champaign County Field of Dreams. A jungle of vegetation, pollen, and shoots. Inch of rain in last week saved the crop. But will need more to finish well. Been in a dry pocket the last month. Looks very good overall considering the dryness.

#CropWatch25 producers are cautiously optimistic about their #soybeans. Current yield potential is average compared with past mid-July expectations, but recent weather has been supportive. Just need the rains to stay on through next month.

🌽#CropWatch25 #corn has either pollinated or is doing so now. Only potential issues reported are out of western Iowa, where the top leaf and the tassel are intertwined. Pollination impacts are unclear for now. Otherwise, corn looks good, plenty of moisture for most fields.
