Very excited to share that our work at Paszek Lab has finally been published in Nature Materials! Cancer-associated mucins form nanoscale material barriers that resist attack by immune cells, including natural killer cells and CAR-T cells. #glycotime nature.com/articles/s4156…
If you know anyone with Emery-Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy (#EDMD) or want to support research on this disease, a patient family we have been working with has started a new foundation (cureEDMD) to raise awareness for this devastating disease: cureedmd.org Please share!
Excited to share that I’ve officially received the NIH/NCI Early-Stage K99/R00 award! So grateful for my mentors (Dr. Marcela Maus and Dr. Matthew Paszek), colleagues, and friends who’ve supported me. A slightly delayed but unforgettable birthday gift! 🎉 #K99R00 #NIH #MGH

I will have more to say about this in a few days. But #ArvCon2025 has concluded with $5100 raised, beating our goal and last year's total, and bringing our lifetime total to $40k for @DamonRunyon. I am moved and deeply honored. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much!
#ArvCon2025 to benefit @DamonRunyon is less than a week away, and I'm excited and honored to announce our sponsors and our schedule! Please spread the word and share widely, as we aim to make our eleventh annual ArvCon the best one yet! 1/?
Thanks to @PEMatson for putting together this awesome press release for #ArvCon2025--please share widely! :D rascal.news/arvcon-2025-pl…
Emergency town hall at #BPS2025 Impact of U.S. policies on biophysics research and what you can do about it. Tuesday, February 18 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm Room 411
We finally posted a manuscript describing this tool predicting accurate 3D DNA mechanics from sequence and its applications to probe mechanical selection in diverse eukaryotic genomes. Led by Jonghan Park of Yonsei U with awesome help from collaborators biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
We have a web interface for predicting DNA cyclizability. Entering a PDB ID shows the preferred bending direction around a protein. Widom 601 DNA has strong and weak sides, and indeed intrinsic bending is toward the nucleosome center for the strong side (LH) only. Plz try it out!
Glad to share my first postdoc review paper has just been published in the @Nature_NPJ Precision Oncology. We discussed the landscape of clinical trials for CAR-T cell therapy targeting brain tumors. Thank you so much, Dr. Bryan Choi and Dr. Marcela Maus! nature.com/articles/s4169…
Excited to share our new @biorxivpreprint from the Paszek Lab @Cornell! We developed an optical method using SAIM to screen therapeutic agents that disrupt the cancer cell glycocalyx, a barrier to immune attack. biorxiv.org/content/10.110… #glycotime

Cancer survivors from @BCCRoc heard first hand from our own @ndsempertegui how their funding supports her important work on bone metastasis - she clearly enjoyed the opportunity! Thanks @bobriter for organizing! @CornellBME
Happy to share the newest preprint from @HollopeterLab @cornellvet: biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…. We propose the Inversin complex works via a dimerization mechanism. You’re probably thinking, “What the $%@! is the Inversin complex?” Let me explain:
Thank you @NCIPhySci so much for mentioning our work at Paszek Lab with the support of @CornellPSOC. We're excited to develop this idea more!
