Imagine if this actually mattered. This is 100x more entertaining than whatever’s gonna happen in the Playoffs
30 years and 100 wins later. #Brickyard400 | #Pennzoil250
Maybe if you're gonna drive like an asshole don't wear white gloves. We're not stupid.
The yellow flag is out at @IMS following this incident involving multiple cars. @Aric_Almirola exited the No. 19 under his own power.
Idc how boomer of a hill this is to die on it is the truth numbers centered up and sticker bomb contigs on front that is what a stock car should be
5,000 RTs and I'll throw an orange at McMurray while they're on air
not a fan of Heim clinching so early, I actually think we need a regular season playoff to prevent this from happening again.
Layne Riggs wins the truck race at IRP. Corey Heim finishes fourth and clinches the regular season title with two races left.
Like the former series sponsor, all I ask for is "No BULL"
The argument between full season points vs playoffs is basically "All 36 races should factor equally into judging a team's performance and deciding the year's best team" vs "Somebody might be too deserving of a championship and that would be boring for the rest of us."
Here's one for ya: I asked @chaseelliott about the topic of the week with the NASCAR championship format debate, and he endorsed full-season points. Chase: "We've had a really good and competitive battle to the regular season (championship) over -- correct me if I'm wrong -- the…

Ok hear me out. Last week in golf, a major championship was held. What if instead of the championship being awarded to the leader after all 72 holes, we took the 4 players who had the best rounds each day and had them play one hole for the championship? That’s what NASCAR did
Kenny's trolling here, right?
They took all the seats out. (On purpose) So @NASCAR intentionally does not want 200,000 people at the race tracks anymore because they won’t fit.
Great article here @VPuglieseRacing @Frontstretch frontstretch.com/2025/07/23/sir…
“That time that it once was that we’re constantly told doesn’t exist anymore, doesn’t exist because those making decisions have accepted it, and continue to do things to prevent it from happening, and then get mad if you notice”
frontstretch.com/2025/07/23/sir… Major kudos to @VPuglieseRacing for the history, wordsmithing, and cajones to put this out there!! And to Frontstretch for publishing it. Free speech is alive and well!
This 2003 argument is so tired. But I’m not surprised coming from the guy who has 5 DNFs and 8 finishes outside the top 20 this year. If only wins matter then just give the guy with the most wins the trophy. Otherwise all races should matter
Ryan Blaney weighed in on the Playoff format discussion this morning on @SiriusXMNASCAR. He said that he prefers the original Chase format. He also took issue with those who say the current championships are "Mickey Mouse" titles while pointing out the season-long format hasn't…
In 1995 Dale Earnhardt won the Brickyard 400 @IMS. He started P13 & led 28 laps. When the @RCRracing crew were building Dale's Indy car they bead-rolled a brick pattern into the quarter panel box of the interior. Thanks to Jay Stone for that tidbit of info and picture.
What do you mean they "bead-rolled bricks"?
Sometimes to move forward we must look back and see what made it so great in the first place 🙂
Prove it. I can prove they don’t.
The majority of fans love the playoff
We support winning! (Ignore a format where a driver can win 35 races, finish 2nd one time and lose the championship). This is highly entertaining! (Maybe to the 1/4 sized crowds from before). We need eliminations! (Yeah, the old system used to mathematically eliminate you)…
