The drivers at today’s tire test at @NHMS (@joeylogano, @CBellRacing and @RossChastain) were asked whether they prefer sim time or at track testing. The answers were predictable but clear. Nothing beats actual seat time. Can we give these guys some seat time back now?

Absolutely not true! Mark Martin is my hero and proud to call him a friend! If you would listen closely it’s a driver that is active and on the council! I find it so hard to believe how you folks come up with stuff sometimes!
Mark Martin doesn’t need anyone to stick up for him. But I’ll say this: If anything, a driver passionately arguing in favor of a format in which they never won a title actually only increases the credibility of their argument.
.@TNTdrama + @TruTV got 2.009 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race @MonsterMile that wound up being rain delayed for nearly an hour toward the end. ➡️ Viewership dropped 27% during the delay. ➡️ Last year's race was held in April and got 2.401 million on @FS1.

The CW says the rain-shortened Dover race got the highest viewership for an Xfinity Series race at Dover in nine years. Average viewership of 1.047 million. Was up 19 percent over last year's Dover Xfinity race on FS1, though that was in April.
