I hadn’t heard of the case until the retrial verdict and then I listened to this podcast series with Peter Elston and Dr Michael McConville. I found it disturbing and quite harrowing to hear how Lucy has been abused by NHS Consultants and the legal system for nearly 10 years now.

Mum lives on the Kent coast. Her and her friends see abandoned inflatable boats left on the beach on their morning dog walks. That’s miles away from the numbers counted in at Dover. She’s seen migrants run off the beach and up to a waiting white van. Undocumented and uncounted.
The lack of action in the Channel and levels of unfathomable incompetence in ‘stopping the boats’ all makes sense when you finally accept this one premise: It’s intentional.

Terrific article, but the Lucy Letby insulin cases are massively shakier than even this: A 3rd baby had similar readings which were natural; Test results were unusual for adults but not neonates; Potassium readings were inconsistent with the poisoning theory.
