I am praying for the quick and full recovery of our Lorain Police Officers who were shot in the line of duty today. My thoughts are also with the families of the officers in this difficult moment. I thank our brave law enforcement officials who acted to protect Lorain.

Thank you to the Small Business Development Centers of Ohio for having me at their AI Workshop at the LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus last week. I learned a lot about the endless possibilities AI offers small business owners in the district!

The budget battle continues in Ohio. Gov. DeWine vetoed more things in this budget than he ever had before, so now Statehouse Republicans want to start overturning those vetos. That's where you come in. It's time to do some work. I explain in this week's ICYMI.

Glad to recognize Junior Girl Scout Troop 50851 today for their achievement of the Bronze Award, the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can achieve. Together they established a Care Closet of hygiene items for local schools and raised awareness in their community.

Spent a full weekend celebrating Father Bill Thaden's farewell from Sacred Heart Chapel after more than 25 years of devoted service, and enjoying a tour of D & D Smith Winery in Norwalk.

We spent this Saturday remembering the life of SSG James P. Hunter at the 2nd Annual Memorial Basketball Game held in his honor. On behalf of Patty and their Gold Star Family, I will continue to push for my Gold Star Family Flag legislation to be passed into law.

On Juneteenth, we celebrate the official end of slavery in the United States and the sacrifices made by so many on the journey towards freedom and equality. Happy Juneteenth!

Happy Father’s Day to the three men who taught me so much. My Godfather Al Miller, dad Joe Miller and Uncle John Miller and all those out there that have been a father to others.

I met two elderly women today at the No Kings rally in NR. (Pat and Othello sp?) with walker and chair in hand they said they are the Gray Panthers. They were walking so fast to get to the street to protest I said you sure you don’t have a little silver sneaker in you as well? 😂

This says it all here. It is not about the Army, not about the country and the flag it represents but about a cultish love for a man who love neither his country or its citizens more than his love for money, power and attention.
