They've devoted a lot of mental effort to downplaying all of these and Tifa herself. Hence the absurd cries of OPTIONAL to discredit the GS date which get applied to Tifa herself despite her being a lynchpin of the plot from before it even started.

If they were going to write to cloud to be a fuck boy who didn’t care about women’s feelings, they would’ve done 2 kisses at the GS. Cloud didn’t act out of character and all the dates fit in the story. He’s not kissing one girl and ending up with the other. Not to mention Zack

Can we talk about Tifa leading Aerith away, holding her hand and having an arm around her? Knowing full well she was almost MURDERED by Cloud? CAs don't ever bring that up, that Cloud shoved Tifa because she was protecting Aerith from him and Aerith herself feared for her life.

Greedfall is really fun. It's full of political intrigue. I think the only game I played that came close was Dragon Age Origins during the landsmeet, and Inquisition during the winter palace mission.
And he's never going to fall in love with Aer in any universe either. It just isn't going to happen because he just doesn't feel that way about her, the same as why Tidus and Rikku will never happen--or Squall and Quistis.
