I now fully believe the real parallel with Leslie is in fact Tifa, not Cloud. Cloud was a misdirection b/c Leslie saw Cloud as someone who went to any lengths to save his love. But I think Leslie and Tifa will both help each other reunite with their lovers in Part 3. #CloTi

As absolutely annoying as the CT/CA wars are, I find any FF7 fan that dismisses the romance as a faker. You don't have to like the romance or care about it but it is baked into the overall narrative of FF7. Love is at the HEART of the story. Regardless of who you ship.
