I know ppl think Cloud hugged Tifa before he kissed her for the dramatic fakeout, but to me it's so Cloud Strife to take the time to hold her in his arms & ground her in the truth of his feelings before kissing her. It's so romantic but so in character for their emotional safety
From what I can tell Cloud's outfit seems to be inspired by Erdrick - using his armour - and Aerith seems to be inspired by the party member Sage class of DQ3, which makes sense. Now i'm curious to see what the others look like..
