This blog from @github does a great job of explaining why so many people are excited about @ladybirdbrowser and willing to put money down to see our mission succeed. It's a privilege to work on FOSS that gets people excited about the future! github.blog/open-source/ma…
Chris Wanstrath has stepped down from our Board of Directors. In his words, "The org is now over a year old with strong leadership and momentum, so this feels like the right time to formally step away. I’m grateful to have helped get the non-profit off the ground, and the…
Chromium has created a new distributed build tool called siso to be a drop-in replacement for ninja. Or at least it's supposed to be. There's one ninja tool that I just can't live without, and I'm shocked they forgot it. Luckily, it can be patched in. gist.github.com/ADKaster/e3275…
Gotta love popular science posts. Tons of likes, a pre-print paper that claims the CMB is dead thanks to JWST. And then you read the paper, where they say their new findings account for "1.4% or more" of the energy in the CMB. smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=c…
Ahahahaha, the James Webb Space Telescope continues to deliver massive L’s for astrophysics. A new paper shows that the “Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation” can be explained entirely by the energy of recently discovered Early Mature Galaxies — massive galaxies that the JWST…

I'm still confused as to what nix is actually supposed to fix. In my experience the only things it fixes are my abundance of free time that's not spent editing configuration files, and the dearth of issues on my bug tracker complaining things only work in a standard FHS env.
If you work in DevOps read this post-mortem. If you don't work in DevOps, send this to your coworkers that do. Trust me, it's important they read this. landh.tech/blog/20250211-…
I always get asked "what does RTL do?" in silicon design, so I made a quick generic-company chip design org chart
rebase is better than merge this is not an april fools joke loser, you are just bad at git
I hope @LegalEagle takes a look at Deno v Oracle that's currently before the USPTO soon. deno.com/blog/deno-v-or… . The case for this being a patent abandonment is clear to anyone in the software industry. Oracle has nothing to do with JavaScript, and hasn't for over 20 years.
