Summer holidays are so close now and we’re stocking up with holiday reading. Today we bought lots of thrillers, crime and romance paperbacks, we’ve spent all afternoon finding space for them on the shelves in #felixstowe. The carpet is fast disappearing

A July highlight in #felixstowe is always the Thursday afternoon concerts on the Triangle by the Ipswich Over 50s Brass Band Band. We can hear them from Treasure Chest and they always attract a big crowd. And there’s no truth in the rumour a bookseller was almost run over

We were in Ipswich and it was great to finally visit the GET Free Books shop, managed by our very own Lucy. It was lovely to see how busy it was and how many books are on the shelves. The shop is closing soon and the charity is looking for new premises, do visit soon if you can
