There's a very weird group of #Packers who are CORE backups but have essentially no chance to start short of injury. I wrote about them today on @TheLeapGB theleap.football/p/2025-packers…
This is a much better rep vs. Carter from Morgan. He gets help merely by having Josh Myers there even if Myers doesn't block Carter, but Morgan stays attached and on better balance to counter the spin.
Matt LaFleur neutral pass rate has fallen relative to the league every season he's been the HC. 5th 10th 11th 17th -- (Love/Rodgers cutoff) 20th 32nd
The Packers were 32nd in neutral pass rate last year with an elite run game and an injured QB. They were 20th in 2023 with first-year starter Jordan Love. They were 17th with reigning back-to-back MVP Aaron Rodgers in 2022. Let's not overthink this one.
There’s nothing unique about maxing down Zach Tom’s first-year cap hit on an extension. The Packers consistently do this. But they didn’t NEED to do it this year. They could have used the space. It does make you wonder
The last line …
#Packers set Zach Tom's base salary at $1.206 million in '25, so his salary cap number will be around $7.4M. Puts #Packers slightly more than $31 million under the cap. Plenty of room to do another extension or two or be a player in acquiring a veteran through trade.
The Chiefs, Ravens, Bills, Broncos, Chargers and Texans are all better teams than what Cincy has. Steelers are a coin flip and I’m not sure Jacksonville is that far off tbh. They’re going to be over-leveraged with stars on a meh team. That’s hell in pro sports.
My lukewarm Bengals take is the smart team-building strategy would have been to trade Tee Higgins and Trey Hendrickson, understanding they are not nearly as close to competing for a Super Bowl as they seem to believe.
Talked about this today on @lockedonpackers. Part of the reason is coverage is a weak link system. One CB can’t change your defense the way one WR can change your offense
The average new money APY of the top 5 WRs is 34.94M. The average new money APY of the top 5 CBs is 26.64M. Thats a 31.15% difference between the counterpart markets, but it was a lot more before the Sauce and Stingley deals.
He didn’t have to do much but he made 1 or 2 awesome throws vs GB in the rain last year and it was enough to win. And he outplayed Aaron Rodgers with GBs season on the line at Lambeau in 2022.
Time to dead the "Jared Goff isn't a cold weather QB" narrative!!! 🥶 🔥 Since 2022, he's 4-1 with the 4th HIGHEST passer rating in the NFL when the temperature is below freezing. JARED AGREES. @netflixsports @Lions @JaredGoff16
This is the Packers in a walk. Vote.

Did the #Packers get a steal with this Zach Tom contract? Let’s break down the deal 👀 #LockedOnPackers @Peter_Bukowski
This is probably my favorite thing to watch OL execute well: help off the snap, then find a second target to absolutely detonate.
Watching Jordan Love against the Cardinals, it's the best he moves all season. He's running to make throws and to pick up first downs. Not surprising it was his best game. It's the healthiest he looked all year.
Technically I'm watching for Jordan Morgan but ... I mean, c'mon
One thing I worry about with trying to give Jordan Morgan too much -- letting him compete at LT and RG for example -- is he's still getting used to the pass-blocking nuances of playing inside. You need reps to get better at that.
This is the vision for Jordan Morgan. (I continue to believe he's a guard, and a good one)
The #Packers drafted Jordan Morgan, then signed Aaron Banks and drafted Anthony Belton because they wanted to move bodies better in the run game. Morgan showed flashes of it last year.
Going back and watching every Jordan Morgan snap from last year. He didn't really have a true 1v1 pass set until this rep in the 3rd quarter. Can't be late taking the fight to Jalen Carter.
