Eye editor Ian Hislop talking about the arrest on BBC Radio 4 #BBCPM
Most of these 2612 U.K. Covid deaths in 2025 will have been preventable @MattChorley. So why does @BBCHughPym never talk about it? Why does he never challenge the authorities on the lack of infection control in schools and hospitals?
How is this ⬇️ acceptable and why doesn’t @BBCHughPym ever talk about it @MattChorley?
Nosocomial Covid in Wales 'Number of inpatient Covid-19 cases in hospital in Wales' On 20 July 2025, at least 70% of inpatient Covid cases in Wales were the result of hospital-acquired SARS-CoV-2 infection... (PHW data and table)
@MattChorley only asked @BBCHughPym for his general views of the pandemic who answered as though the pandemic was over and gave the impression that he thinks Covid is no big deal now. He also blamed lockdowns for children’s mental health problems. So it was as uninformed as ever.
Do we know what @MattChorley asked @BBCHughPym? Will it have been any of the questions asked in the numerous replies he got? Or not?
URGENT QUESTION Ask BBC Health editor @BBCHughPym anything on today's show. From strikes to appointments, tech to reorganisations, and does he ever get squeamish? Reply 👇 with questions or email [email protected]
Well said, Frances. However, there are two other factors here - 1st, they are both spread via the airborne aerosol route. 2nd, COVID vax were preyed upon by a widespread, well funded, nefarious antivax movement that now revels in the ridiculous MAHA crap propaganda from RFK jr 🤦♂️
Why does @BBCHughPym never talk about this ⬇️ @MattChorley?
I'm a few months from entering this age group. By my reckoning, there have been 14,000 more deaths in it than there should have been during the last five years. That's 19% excess. And you can see, it's still going on. Wish me luck.
@UKLabour @Keir_Starmer @wesstreeting Government negligence & democide whilst MPs enjoy Clean Air Filters in Parliament but are happy to condemn OUR CHILDREN to poor air quality, repeat life changing infections & death. Labour is NOT a friend to the British Public Criminal
Why is @bphillipsonMP forcing sick kids into schools to make more sick kids? Going to the extent of fining parents who rightly want to keep their kids off school when they are ill. Why has she done a complete u-turn to what she said in opposition?

I used to have a really good memory but now I can't seem to remember anything.

Why is @ONS not collecting data about how many children are suffering with long covid now? The numbers DOUBLED March 2023- March 2024. We were up to over 111,000 children (🏴🏴). An escalating crisis. Where’s the new data?
As Hugh Pym is the Health Editor for the BBC why does he never raise the subject of infection control with the NHS or the Government?
Given how much we now know about the short, medium and long term health damage repeated Covid infections can cause @grok, would it be sensible for the NHS to include reducing the spread of the virus in their plans to shift to a prevention service?
How long can we continue to ignore the impact Covid is having on our children?
COVID & CHILD DEVELOPMENT Yet another study has just been published showing the long-term impact of maternal COVID infection on child development. At 24 months: 🔎 36% of infants exhibited cognitive delays 🔎 64% communication delays 🔎 57% motor delays nature.com/articles/s4139…
New study from US, estimates that long Covid may have surpassed asthma as most prevalent chronic illness in children.
A new NIH RECOVER study followed hundreds of children under 6 and found that up to 15% met criteria for probable Long COVID—many with symptoms lasting over a year. Distinct symptom patterns were seen by age group. Poor appetite, chronic cough, sleep issues, and fatigue were…
Question for @BBCHughPym on the @bbc5live @MattChorley show: There are now 462,654 studies on Covid, none of which say it is a good thing to catch. In the thread below are just a few of them describing the brain damage it causes. Are you aware of them? x.com/_CatintheHat/s…
COVID + THE BRAIN 🧠 There’s been a flurry of new studies published in recent weeks about Covid’s detrimental impact on the brain. This is the aspect of Covid which concerns me most, but which many people seem to be blissfully unaware of. So let’s dig into what we know… 🧵
MMR is the best defence against measles but it’s a depressing reflection on how poorly understood & communicated viral spread happens; handwashing & plastic aprons do so little to protect against airborne viruses such as measles & covid. It was a golden opportunity to educate &>
Short video clip about Covid and the brain….
Here’s the link to the full video “COVID for Doctors - by Dr Nancy Malek”: youtu.be/GPUTTjjdT4A I would encourage all doctors to spare the time to watch it. As a little taster, here’s a short extract which covers two fascinating studies on Covid’s impact on the brain.
Covid damages the brain.
Let’s talk about COVID, brain damage & society. Specifically, what happens when a neurotropic virus repeatedly infects the population, targeting the frontal lobe & almost nobody talks about the consequences? This thread is for the skeptics. I’m a neurologist, stay with me 🧵
Nope. I don't like this. What is going on here exactly @EricTopol?
