Being in my 30s led to the recognition that exercise can be about getting stronger, feeling good about myself and having some time to myself. Not a punishment for eating or a way to burn calories, or an opportunity to berate myself for not being as thin as somebody else.
Being in your thirties is accepting the fact you will need to exercise regularly to maintain anything. Physique and sanity.
