Hopefully The Lost Girls of Autism might help?
@ginarippon1 I sometimes wonder if I have autism, its one of the things I wonder about whether I have anyway. just listening to your @newscientist interview, thanks. Would love to read through your books to make a more decidedly, informed opinion of myself with regard to this…
Great blog post about The Age of Diagnosis from Ciara Lee @Women_inNeuro lnkd.in/e5kstgfC . Echoing concerns raised elsewhere! theguardian.com/profile/gina-r….

Appalled by the recent toxic narrative around mental health diagnoses (‘the sick note from life’ brigade)! Had to put my head above the parapet! Why the antagonism over the rise in autism diagnoses? It’s actually good news | Gina Rippon theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
Isn’t it beautiful 🤩 ! Have you spotted the hidden word? Somebody did comment that The Lost Girls was worth buying just for the cover 😂. I think the terms ‘back-handed’ and ‘compliment’ come to mind 😗😏. But I’ll focus on the ‘compliment’ aspect 😄
Birthday homework w/ @ginarippon1 The Lost Girls of Autism. Without a doubt my favourite dust jacket. Utterly mesmerising! I am very tempted to frame it.
This is SO WRONG.Part of the glorification of the overdiagnosis debate and its so-called 'compassionate' propagators. Maybe true when talking about physical conditions, but way off the mark here. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/07/0…

Great 👏. My op-ed pitch is fruitlessly circling round the media sphere. Should have tried Private Eye!
Very proud of one of my oldest friends - now a paediatric neuropsychologist - getting a letter published in Private Eye, about supposed over-diagnosis in the NHS. @ginarippon1 look!

Incredibly glad I went to this event. It was insightful and empowering to hear the experiences of women and girls with autism to be understood and shared with respect.
Please come along and have your say! Everyone has been asking such great questions, I’ve learned so much.
