Civilians in #Ukraine continue to bear the heaviest burden as the war brings destruction. Today, strikes injured civilians and damaged homes in the cities of #Dnipro, #Kharkiv and across the regions. Aid workers, together with local responders, are assisting those affected.
In #Sumy Region, where recent strikes have harmed civilians & disrupted basic services, humanitarians are stepping in. They provide shelter, psychosocial and protection support to families whose homes were hit—including displaced people who had already left everything behind.

Amid intense hostilities in eastern Ukraine, many families fleeing front-line areas arrive at transit centres in #Dnipro Region, seeking safety and help. With support from the #UkraineHumanitarianFund, @caritasukraine teams are able to assist people fleeing the front lines.

Since the beginning of the emergency situation on 17 July, the teams of the Humanitarian Mission "Proliska" evacuated 650 people from the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, of which 143 were non-mobile/low-mobile people who were transported specialized medical transport
Yesterday, an inter-agency convoy delivered charging stations, medicine, food and hygiene supplies to a front-line community in the Beryslav District, the #Kherson Region. With homes damaged by shelling and markets closed, the aid is a lifeline for residents.

Today in Kharkiv, a health facility suffered a direct hit. The strike destroyed the roof and damaged walls and windows. 6 people were injured — 4 health workers and 2 patients. In 2025 alone, @WHO has verified 300 attacks on health care — a 12% increase vs 2024.
Today, an inter-agency convoy brought life-saving food, medicine and hygiene supplies from @UNFPAUkraine, @wfpukraine and @WHOUkraine to the front-line Lyman Community in #Donetsk Region. In 2025, 30+ convoys delivered assistance to nearly 40K front-line residents. Watch more:
Less than a day after a strike on a Kharkiv apartment block, another attack hit a hospital—damaging its roof and wards. Injuries were reported, and people may be trapped. 🏥 Hospitals are protected under international humanitarian law. #NotATarget

Following today’s deadly midday attack in #Kharkiv, rescuers, municipal workers, humanitarian partners and UN agencies are on the ground supporting affected residents. They are providing emergency medical, psychological, shelter and other vital assistance to those affected.

July 24 was a sleepless night for the residents of #Cherkasy in Ukraine's centre and #Odesa in the south. Strikes reportedly injured civilians, including a child. Homes, schools, health facilities and markets were hit. Civilians and civilian infrastructure are protected by IHL.
