I thought Happy Gilmore 2 was good as a sequel lots of callbacks to OG ,it was funny and also brings it to more modern times obviously not a sequel that’s better than the first but very watchable to me

Aside from telltale type games which are literally just interactive movies, A bad story ON ITS OWN cannot wholistically make a game bad. It can make the game WORSE but not bad because a game's most important feature by the essence of its name is the gameplay.
They could do that and I still wouldn’t buy a switch 2 I barely used my OG switch before I sold it
